Testimonials

I have on more than one occasion referred clients to Oliver Ross... It did not surprise me that I have received excellent feedback about his services. Situations were resolved to the satisfaction of both individuals and they were impressed with Oliver's skill and empathy. Dr Ross is my first choice for any divorce mediation.

Career Opportunities
Independent Contractor & Licensee Network

Program Overview

Founded in 1995 by Oliver Ross, JD, PhD, Out-of-Court Solutions® is now offering select professionals the opportunity to join a network of mediators who are dedicated to resolving divorce situations skillfully and compassionately.

Independent Contractor & Licensee Network (“ICLN”) members begin as independent contractors in defined geographical areas under an income sharing arrangement. After 3 years, ICLN members may obtain licensure for which there is a fixed annual fee instead of income sharing.

Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor and degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or similar area of study.
  • Personal and professional reputation for competence, reliability and integrity.

Benefits
  • Immediate Creditability and Profitability
    New ICLN members:
    • Achieve immediate creditability by virtue of their association with Out-of-Court Solutions, Oliver Ross, and other ICLN members, and prominent inclusion in Out-of-Court Solutions’ highly ranked web site, search engine optimization campaigns, brochures, and other promotional materials and activities.
    • Become profitable within the first couple of months of practice by quickly generating clientele through Out-of-Court Solutions’ proven client procurement strategies and referral of all clients within ICLN’s service areas.
    • Save the substantial startup costs involved in constructing a professional web site, achieving high rankings on Google and other search engines, and designing and printing brochures and other promotional materials.
    • Avoid costly trial and error mistakes by means of Out-of-Court Solutions’ acclaimed Situational™ approach to mediation, highly efficient practice management systems and procedures, and time-tested forms, formats, and model settlement agreements.
    • Save money every month because Out-of-Court Solutions pays all but a few of the monthly costs and expenses intrinsic to a professional practice. For example, Out-of-Court Solutions alone pays for experienced personnel to field calls from prospective clients, answer questions from existing clients, schedule pre-mediation consultations, prepare billing statements, and perform other time-consuming administrative tasks. In addition, Out-of-Court Solutions alone pays for all web-based and other advertising campaigns, brochures, letterhead, and business cards, as well as telephone, internet, and credit card facilities.

  • 40+ hour Comprehensive Training Program; Ongoing Mentoring and Consultation
The training offered by other providers does not equip mediators with a methodology and the expertise necessary to effectively market a practice or conduct pre-mediation consultations. Nor does the training offered by other providers teach mediators the specific information, techniques and interventions needed to proficiently mediate divorce situations.

Out-of-Court Solutions provides each ICLN member with comprehensive divorce mediation training, as well as ongoing mentoring and consultation – all of which fully equips ICLN members with the skills, knowledge and resources needed to procure clients and expertly mediate any divorce situation.

  • Licensure and Expansion Opportunities
Most sole practitioners have little or no opportunity to build a practice that has tangible value. If they are no longer willing or able to practice, it is virtually impossible to sell their practice.

Under Out-of-Court Solutions’ licensure program, licensees may sell their service areas to another qualified professional. Licensees also have the opportunity to expand and increase their profitability through revenues generated by other in-area and out-of-area ICLN members.

Detailed financial projections and sample agreements will be provided to qualified applicants.
